Our Services

Telehealth Psychology

Secure, high-quality psychological support delivered via video from wherever you are. The same expertise and care as an in-clinic visit: no travel required.

What is Telehealth Psychology?

Telehealth psychology delivers the same evidence-based assessment and therapy services as an in-person visit, but through a secure video platform accessible from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Sessions are conducted in real time with your psychologist, maintaining the same quality of care, therapeutic relationship, and clinical outcomes as face-to-face appointments.

Research consistently shows that Telehealth therapy is as effective as in-person therapy for most presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. The convenience of Telehealth removes common barriers to care: distance, transport, time constraints, and the anxiety that can accompany visiting a new clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Telehealth therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes. A large and growing body of research: including randomised controlled trials: demonstrates that Telehealth delivery of CBT, ACT, and other evidence-based therapies produces outcomes equivalent to face-to-face treatment for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and many other presentations. The therapeutic relationship, which is central to positive outcomes, is maintained effectively via video. Some assessments or interventions may still be best conducted in person, and your psychologist will advise you if this applies.

What if my internet connection drops during a session?

If your connection drops, your psychologist will attempt to reconnect via the video link. If the connection cannot be restored, they will call you on your phone to continue or reschedule the remainder of the session at no additional charge.

Is Telehealth secure and private?

Yes. We use a secure, encrypted video platform that is compliant with Australian health privacy legislation. Your sessions are not recorded. As with any health appointment, we recommend finding a private space in your home where you will not be overheard or interrupted.

Can I switch between Telehealth and in-person appointments?

Absolutely. Many clients alternate between Telehealth and in-person appointments depending on their schedule and preferences. Simply let reception know when booking which format suits you for each session.

I am not very tech-savvy. Is this still an option for me?

Yes. Our platform is designed to be as simple as possible: you receive a link and click it. No accounts, passwords, or downloads are needed. If you are unsure, reception can walk you through it before your first session. Many of our clients who were initially hesitant have found it straightforward after their first appointment.
