Structured, psychologist-led group workshops that build skills, reduce isolation, and create community. An affordable and effective path to lasting change.
Group therapy and skills-based workshops are among the most well-researched interventions in psychology. Learning alongside others who face similar challenges normalises your experience, reduces shame, and provides a powerful sense of community. You practise skills in a supportive environment and gain perspectives that individual therapy alone cannot offer.
Our programs are psychologist-led, structured, and evidence-based. They are not drop-in support groups: each program follows a carefully designed curriculum with specific skills and outcomes in mind. Group size is kept small (typically 6–10 participants) to ensure every person receives meaningful attention and support.
Groups are also significantly more affordable than individual therapy, making evidence-based psychological support accessible to more people. Many participants choose to combine group programs with individual sessions for a comprehensive approach.
A structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy program for adults experiencing anxiety. Participants learn to identify triggers, challenge catastrophic thinking, gradually face avoided situations through exposure, and build long-term resilience. Covers generalised anxiety, panic, social anxiety, and worry.
An evidence-based group for adults managing depression and low mood. Topics include behavioural activation (re-engaging with meaningful activities), challenging negative thinking, improving sleep and routine, and building a relapse prevention plan. Grounded in the latest CBT research for depression.
Based on the internationally recognised MBSR program developed at the University of Massachusetts, this course teaches mindfulness meditation and body awareness practices to reduce stress, chronic pain, anxiety, and burnout. Includes home practice between sessions. No prior meditation experience required.
For individuals who find social situations challenging, including those with social anxiety, ASD, or simply a desire to build more meaningful connections. Covers communication skills, reading social cues, initiating and maintaining conversation, and managing social anxiety in everyday situations.
Drawing on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), this program teaches practical skills across four domains: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Suitable for those who experience intense emotions, impulsivity, or difficulties in relationships.

Participation is always at your own pace. You are never required to share more than you are comfortable with. Group norms, including confidentiality and respect, are established at the first session. Over time, most participants find the group a safe and supportive space. The psychologist facilitating the group actively manages dynamics to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
Contact our reception team and they will match you with the most appropriate program based on what you are experiencing. A brief phone call or intake appointment with one of our psychologists helps ensure the group is the right fit for your current needs.
Yes, and many people find this combination highly effective. You can work on the same issues at depth in individual sessions while also building practical skills and community connection in the group. If you are seeing a psychologist outside our practice, please let us know so we can coordinate care if appropriate.
Programs run in rolling intakes throughout the year. Contact reception or check our website for upcoming start dates. We recommend joining a waitlist if your preferred program is full, as spaces do become available.
