About Cassandra

Cassie has a background in nursing and postgraduate training in psychology. She works collaboratively with clients to understand patterns that maintain distress and to support psychological flexibility, engagement, and everyday functioning and wellbeing. Cassie’s work is grounded in applied, reflective, and evidence-based practice.

Cassie has a particular interest in supporting people experiencing chronic pain or chronic illness, sleep difficulties and insomnia, anxiety, grief, and life adjustment. Her work is informed by an understanding of how these presentations are maintained over time, and how they can be processed and reorganised within a supportive, evidence-based therapeutic framework.

Cassie has completed formal training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and is an APS/ASA Certified CBT-I Level 1 Practitioner.
