Justin Ong
Justin is a General Psychologist currently pursuing endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist through the Clinical Registrar program at the Mood & Mind Centre. He has recently completed his postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology, where he has accumulated experience working individually, as well as being part of multidisciplinary teams, in providing individualized and empathetic therapeutic support to a multicultural clientele across the lifespan. He is fully registered with AHPRA and retains membership with the Australian Psychological Society.
Justin is driven and passionate about helping and empowering individuals to overcome the psychological barriers and sources of pain and distress which hold them back from living meaningful lives. He recognises the privileged position he enjoys when clients share their biggest insecurities and vulnerabilities, and values the influential role he gets to play in clients’ short-term and long-term general wellbeing. He is guided by a combination of a collaborative spirit, warmth, and empathy, while adopting a strengths-based approach and a wide range of evidence-based treatment modalities.
